Track lighting

There are several light sources for track lighting systems. In modern installations, the most common solution is LED lighting systems. They consume about 80% less energy than ordinary light bulbs, and the light produced by LED headlights can be directed to the desired area without unnecessarily dissipating light energy in other directions. This increases the quality of light and at the same time saves a lot of energy. Another popular lighting model is halogen track lighting. It is not uncommon to equip rooms with halogen lamps and adjustable point strips. Halogen lamps are considered classics, but fluorescent lamps are also a great alternative.

Lighting is a basic element of furniture. Thanks to a good lighting system, it is possible to carry out all kinds of activities in the best possible way, especially if different lighting is selected for each room, appropriate to the environment. Track lighting is certainly the preferred choice for very large rooms that require different light points, but above all require a lot of flexibility. Ideal lighting, therefore, in museums to illuminate various exhibited works from above or in shops to create different points of light directed at the displayed goods. Track lighting also allows the direction and position of the headlamps to be changed, thus adapting to the constant changes taking place in environments such as museums and shops. In work contexts such as an open plan office, track lighting is of course a smart choice, as it allows the light to be directed to individual workstations and its configuration adapted to any changes in equipment, both for spontaneous meetings and for larger reorganization of workgroups. For a more demanding clientele or for architectural environments of a certain value, many designers and planners choose designer track lighting, which is distinguished by a more elegant shape of the luminaires, a selection of exclusive materials, but also the fact that the track itself can become a decorative element, designing specific paths that they voluntarily emphasize certain profiles or disappear into the architecture, leaving room only for the design of the light.

Track lighting for every room

Even in the home, track lighting is the best choice, especially in certain rooms. For example, the kitchen is one of the rooms that most need well-designed lighting: in addition to providing natural light entry, artificial light sources must be well-designed to optimally illuminate workplaces. The LED rail is an excellent solution because it provides good direct illumination of the worktop and cooking zone, but at the same time ensures that the light is evenly distributed throughout the room. In the living room, track lighting can also be an excellent option: with track-mounted spotlights, we can create different lighting areas, on the sofa, dining table, reading corner and even for playing the piano. The advantage of using busbars in large rooms is that you can concentrate the light directly where it is needed without scattering, with an economic benefit, especially if you choose LED spotlights. Another important advantage that should not be underestimated is that mounting a track on which different lighting points can be arranged allows differently lit areas even with one electrical connection, unlike traditional lighting which requires different electrical, ceiling and ceiling connections. wall.
