INSPIRED BY DRIADE

Driade is a visual laboratory that has been combining architecture and design for over 50 years to create high-end, eclectic, elegant furniture, home accessories, art objects and everyday products. In 1968, founders Enrico Astori, Antonia Astori and Adelaide Acerbi Astori introduced a certain degree of experimentation and implemented industrial strategies that took into account many factors, including communication. Driade: 50 years of design icons The Driade catalog includes furniture and accessories, accessories, gifts and lighting. The idea of craftsmanship integrated with the most modern industrial processes is a common thread in all Driade products. The Driade catalog is a series of design icons, continuous work in progress, a pioneer of high-quality production and a long-term vision. Designer chairs, armchairs, tables, sofas, beds and all of the company's products express their unique personality through the use of traditional or innovative materials such as wood, leather, metal, wicker and plastic.
Sof Sof chairs (1972) still have the current lines, as does the Frate table; and, like all Enzo Mari designs, they are harmonious, essential and elegant. On the other hand, Philippe Stark always surprises with the many projects he has done for Driade. His Costes armchair (1984) has a wooden shell and three heavily angled legs; Miss Lacy, in a recently released limited edition of 50 pieces, winks at the elegance of macrame lace in new colors. Borek Sipek designed Liba, a wicker armchair evoking a certain liking for primitive art, which evokes cubism thanks to various color combinations emphasizing the three dimensions of the seat. MT is an acronym for furniture designed by Ron Arad, its name is a play on the word "empty". The void characterizes this design, in which advanced production technology cuts out the solid, revealing a colorful interior. Newer icons are furniture that can be used both indoors and outdoors. Faye Toogood's Roly Poly polyethylene elements have curved seats supported by sturdy legs. Fabio Novembre, a designer who loves to tell stories with his designs, created the world-famous Nemo chair, in which the human face becomes abstract and universal, evoking the elegance of Greek art and the fascination of the mask.
