An illumination expert since 1961, the Serip design consists of nature-inspired organic shapes, in which disproportionate and uneven forms distinguish the Serip design as exclusive and unique, based on the powerful distinctive elements of nature, bringing the organic concept to life. Established in 1961, Serip's legacy spans three generations of Portuguese craftsmanship, highlighting the creative bridge between artisans and designers, providing a unique point of view of handcrafting, contrasting with existing manufacturing today. Sculptures are brought to life by highly skilled Serip craftsmen at the company's own artisanal facility in Lisbon, Portugal. Due to the almost complete absence of mechanical components, there are never two exact components, making each piece an exclusive and unique work of art. The organic, aesthetic design offers the ability to completely adapt each element to the different specifications of each space and environment. Serip is able to meet all kinds of challenges, such as complex shapes, different sizes or multiple lighting systems, and even all additions to the space environment. The creative process is extremely versatile. With a strong presence in the international market, exporting more than 96 percent of production, Serip reaches over 77 countries on five continents. England, the United States, China and the United Arab Emirates are the countries where the brand has more influence. Integrating the brand's initial steps towards internationalization, Serip invests in single-brand stores, at the moment the brand has three stores around the world, Singapore, Jakarta and Beijing are exclusive stores internationally.
