Sitland is a leading furniture company in the office and contract sector. Sitland was founded in Vicenza, Italy in 1977 and soon became a supplier of seat covers and sleeping cabins for the Italian state railways. In 1996, there was a major shift for the company with the Ouverture telescopic chair, transforming Sitland into the flagship brand of Made in Italy. The combination of tradition and innovation has been a success strategy from the very beginning, resulting in high-quality products whose design focuses on aesthetics and ergonomics. Today, Sitland's office and contract collections are world renowned and some products have received prestigious international design awards. In 2018, Sitland was acquired by the Mezzalira Investment Group (MIG), which already owned other prominent Made in Italy companies such as Jesse (home furniture), Sinetica (office furniture) and Rotaliana (lighting).
