From January 2020, the new Shelley dining room will join the Shelley armchair and the small Lounge armchair: a seat designed for the dining room that is characterized by the same refined design and the same cubic shapes as the project of the same name signed by GamFratesi. In addition to embodying formal elegance and comfort, the dining armchair easily combines compact proportions and contemporary aesthetic taste, with references to the characteristic features of the Scandinavian style.
The seat height is increased by 6 cm compared to the small lounge armchair, kept in this pure metal construction in a black nickel finish, with the front legs angled and slightly open to the sides, supporting a rigid saddle leather shell, slightly flared at the top.
Available in a wide range of colors - including new colors Ash, Sage, Bordeaux and Dove Gray - the shell covers a soft and comfortable padded seat, enhanced by careful processing techniques and refined profiles and tailoring details.
The materiality of saddle leather and the multitude of seat upholsteries make Shelley dining a particularly versatile and extremely refined piece of furniture that, with moderate fits elegantly into any residential and hotel context.SHELLEY
GamFratesi Design
Distinguished by its elegant, formal cubist shape, Shelley has a linear geometry, enhanced by the presence of saddle leather and a precise processing technique.
The distinctive, voluptuous volume of the saddle accommodates fabric-covered cushions and opens at the front sides to reveal an inviting seat, while the rear section hugs the body in a soft embrace. The saddle leather also serves to connect the legs, wrapping around them and allowing the upper part to emerge, ending with a fine decorative detail with a black nickel finish.
The supporting frame features interesting shape solutions, such as sloping front legs, slightly flared on the sides, and the tightness of the saddle leather at the base of the chair, which gradually loosens, creating an elegant effect of narrowing towards the outside. The upper part. Tailoring details such as neat piping define the edges of the cushions, while the backrest and armrest are designed as three separate elements. Shelley is available in two versions: an armchair with classic dimensions and a lounge version that can be used individually or together to create continuity of shapes in living rooms. The saddle color palette includes four new shades - Ash, Sage, Bordeaux and Dove Gray - in addition to the current shades Mud, Moka and Black, all perfectly matching the fabrics in the collection.
GamFratesi's compact design concept, which is based on harmonious contrasts between the structured outer shell and the soft, inviting interior, enhanced by the texture of the saddle leather and the fabrics used, is flawlessly brought to life thanks to the design know-how and refined tailoring techniques that from have always been Minotti's distinguishing features.

Technical data

Structure: metal covered with saddle leather, with special handmade details, available in the colors Bordeaux, Ash, Dove Gray, Sage, Mud, Moka, Black and Red Bulgary.
The seat structure is made of plywood with suspension provided by high rubber - content: elastic tape. The structure is covered with highly elastic polyurethane foam with variable density.
Additional casing made of breathable, hot-bonded fiber laminated with white hypoallergenic cotton fabric provides additional softness.
Pillows: backrest, seat and armrest cushions made of profiled goose down material (certified Assopiuma, Gold Label) with a core insert made of polyurethane foam of high elasticity and variable density.
Covers: the upholstery of the seat cushion, backrest and armrests is only available in a fabric version and can be completely removed.
Legs : made of metal tube with a diameter of 25 mm, with upper and lower metal cylinders, black-nickel finish. Adjustable feet with protective felt guides.
