Lawson is an upholstered armchair, covered with leather and fabric, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti.
Construction: solid wood. The seat structure is covered with high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam, with a concave contour to accommodate the cushion, maximizing softness and durability. Metal backrest covered with fire-resistant polyurethane foam. Backrest and seat covered with breathable hot-bonded fiber laminated to white hypoallergenic cotton fabric for extra softness.
Cushions: Channeled goose down padding in backrest and seat cushions (Assopiuma, Gold Label certified) with variable density polyurethane foam core Highly resilient insert.
Fabric and leather upholstery covers are removable.
Bases: Semi-curved metal blades, lacquered and polished pewter with anti-fingerprint finish or chrome finish. Black, protective, polyethylene sofa covers; and in black SEBS for seats with a metal base. With a fluid line of shapes and a balance of soft volumes, the Lawson seating system explores different types of seating, offering innovative solutions that push the boundaries of traditional style, ranging from small lounge chairs, a larger armchair and even sofas.
The design is characterized by an appearance based on the combination of materials: on the one hand, leather that follows the curve of the surrounding backrest, in turn becoming an armrest, and on the other hand, the fabric of the cushions, with a haute couture feel.
The various layouts of the system, with an interesting range of alternating depths, make it ideal for creating both small, intimate spaces and arrangements consisting of several elements that will gracefully occupy larger spaces.
Thanks to its natural elegance, Lawson is ideal for residential interiors, but thanks to its versatile modularity it also reveals a strong vocation for the hospitality industry.
The sofas and armchairs stand on metal legs with a chrome or polished tin finish, a valuable detail , which adds sophistication to the whole. The wide range of pieces in the Lawson family also includes an armchair with legs in Moka ash wood or upholstered in leather - a detail that also characterizes the small lounge chair and dining chair.
Each piece can be used in a wide range of potential combinations of materials and colors. And while Lawson's impression exudes '70s style when the design includes black leather accents, structured fabric upholstery and chrome-finish legs, a more decorative spirit shines through instead when the option chosen includes velvet and chenille.
