LED modular ceiling lamp

Description

Pivot by Axolight is a revolutionary new linear and modular ceiling and pendant lighting system inspired by a collaboration with Japanese designer Ryosuke Fukusada.

In the ceiling version, each lamp body of the Pivot system is characterized by three interconnected supporting elements: a small cylinder, reminiscent of the shape of a Japanese hishaku, which houses the LED source and lens, two rotating rings (each only 1.5 cm high), which, placed one above the other, allow each light source to be connected to two tubular metal wires thanks to an inlet hole, thus giving rise to a modular and linear system.5 The system is designed to accommodate a single light source (e.g. two metal tubular conduits (1.5 cm high) which, when stacked on top of each other, allow each single light source to be connected to two tubular metal conduits by means of an inlet opening, thus giving rise to a modular and linear system. The total freedom of rotation of the two superimposed rings allows the system to create an infinite number of geometric shapes and bring light where you want it.

Pivot thus becomes a structural element of the space with which you can "play" and define your surroundings, both from a lighting and architectural perspective.
In the standard version, each system can accommodate between two and ten light sources. The individual tubular cable runs will be 35, 65 and 100 cm long. The system - which can extend up to 10 metres as standard - has been designed to be easily lengthened or shortened to accommodate custom designs.

The lighting bodies have been designed to achieve high visual comfort. The DC LED source and its lens are housed in a cylinder in a recessed position. Each light point has a dimmable output of approximately 9 watts (about 700 lumens). The standard lens allows for a beam opening angle of 38 or 12 degrees. It will also be possible to modify the light points with lenses for additional light beams and LED sources with different color temperatures. The LED drivers are located in a single ceiling rose and power the entire system.
Pivot can also be used as a suspended system: in fact, it was designed and created to work with four Axolight suspension collections: Jewel Mono by Studio Yonoh, Liaison by Sara Moroni, Urban mini by Dima Loginoff, Virtus by Manuel Vivian. The pendant lamps can therefore be used as an alternative, in whole or in part, to single ceiling spots, giving life to a lighting system with infinite interpretative possibilities, adapted to the world of design.

White, black and greige are the three standard finishes of the Pivot collection.
